John Kelly is the Director of Projects at HL Advisors, bringing more than 40 years of executive leadership experience in Long-Term Care (LTC), senior living, and healthcare operations to every client engagement. Throughout his career, John has driven strategic growth, shaped operational excellence, and built high-performing teams across complex organizations.
Before joining HL Advisors, John served as a Senior Vice President and Corporate Officer where he led enterprise-wide functions including Operations, Revenue & Sales, Customer Success, Recruiting & Development, and Financial Performance. In that role, he directed performance for a workforce of 7,000 employees across 700 locations spanning 14 states, contributing significantly to both organizational growth and culture transformation.
His leadership philosophy is built on a winning culture of performance, accountability, and values-based decision-making, a perspective he now brings to HL Advisors’ clients as they navigate growth challenges in evolving healthcare markets.
In addition to his professional achievements, John is deeply engaged in community leadership. He currently serves as Vice President of the Board for Bootstraps, Inc., an organization dedicated to supporting Colorado high school seniors in their transition to college and careers.
